DASHBOARD DESIGN: performance monitoring

- ASML

Dashboards are the perfect place to intuitively transform performance data into interpretable visualizations. The challenge is knowing what to visualize and how, depending on what user you are designing for. Your goal should be provide the right data within the right boundaries and provide points of reference to determine what is acceptable performance and what is under performance. This dashboard is an online version to determine the status of various instances. The goal is to be able to make a diagnosis as quickly as possible.

Spacing in the table overview between cells is different due to data string size.

COFFEE2GO: portable coffeemaker

- Princess

For many people, coffee has become an essential ritual of their mornings. A single cup can make the difference between beating or failing that all-important deadline. However, the quality of our coffee wildly varies. Especially when we are on the move and need a quick caffeine pick-me-up, the choices often become slim. Therefore, in collaboration with Princess, this portable coffeemaker was designed. Following retro design principles and optimal usability, a stylish machine can improve your day anywhere, at any time.

PACKAGING DESIGN:
sustainable solutions for meal packaging

- Starcuisine & Royal Smilde

In 2020, the European Union announced the Single Use Plastic (SUP) legislation for 2021. This meant that for the food packaging industry, change was rapidly demanded. Both Starcuisine, a white label meal supplier, and Royal Smilde, a large margarine and butter company, needed to adapt their products quickly. Both of these projects focused on creating packaging suited to sale venues. By selecting sustainable materials, and applying them to new packaging, costs were outweighed to come to a conclusively sustainable and affordable solution.
